Does it actually feel cold to the touch?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. It is breathable, not refrigerated. The quilted surface lets heat escape rather than trapping it, which is what keeps a dog on it. There is no gel and nothing to freeze.
Can I put it in the washing machine?
Hand wash only. The cover lifts off and washes by hand in cool water. A machine cycle will damage the padding and the waterproof layer, so we do not recommend it.
Is the whole mat waterproof?
The layer inside is. It stops accidents reaching the padding. The surface fabric is not sealed, so liquid will sit on it until you wipe it, which is exactly why the cover comes off.
Which size should I order?
Measure your dog lying stretched out and add roughly 4 inches. S is 17.5 x 14 in, M is 21.5 x 15.5 in and XL is 31.5 x 23.5 in. Most cats and small dogs suit S or M.
Is the bolster pillow attached?
No, it is separate. That is deliberate. You can place it along whichever edge suits, or leave it out entirely if your dog prefers a completely flat surface.
Will my dog chew it?
