It is 56 by 50 in, which covers a standard rear bench in a hatchback, a saloon, an estate or an SUV. The headrest straps adjust through sliders and the cover simply hangs over the backrest, so there is nothing model-specific about it. On a very wide bench you will have a little less overhang at the sides.
How does the split zip work?
A zip runs the full depth of the cover down the centre. Unzip it and you have two independent halves, so you can fold the 60 or the 40 side of the seat and the other half stays covered and strapped. Zip it back and it is a single sheet again.
How does it attach?
Straps loop over the rear headrest posts at the top and the cover tucks into the seat crease at the bottom, with the non-slip backing holding the base. It takes about a minute and nothing is fixed permanently to the car.
Can passengers still use the seat?
Yes. The belt openings let the rear belts through and the quilting is thin enough to sit on comfortably, so the seat stays usable for people on the days there is no dog in the back.
