A Red Jumper Is Not A Christmas Photograph
There is a difference between a dog in a festive sweater and a dog that makes the room stop. The Santina has stuffed arms and legs sewn to the front, so a dog standing on all fours reads as a small Santa standing upright, complete with a hat.
Soft red fleece with white plush trim at every cuff and hem, a printed belt with a gold buckle across the middle, and a matching Santa hat in the box. Your dog’s own front legs go through the body and the belly stays open. Five sizes.

Why It’s Better

- Stuffed Arms And Legs: Sewn to the front so the dog reads as a figure standing upright, which is what makes people look twice.
- Hat Included: A matching Santa hat with an elastic chin loop comes in the box, not sold separately.
- Soft Fleece: A light brushed fleece rather than a stiff costume shell, so they keep it on all afternoon.
- Belly Stays Open: Only the front legs go through, so nothing wraps the underside and toileting is unaffected.
- White Plush Trim: Real plush at every cuff and hem, not a printed panel.
- Five Sizes: Chest about 10 to 23 in, for kittens through to medium dogs.
Perfect for the Christmas card and the group photo
Every year someone takes the family photograph and every year the dog is a blur at the edge of it. A costume that changes the dog’s whole silhouette solves that in one go, because it works from across a room and it works at a glance. It is also fleece rather than a stiff shell, so it survives an entire afternoon rather than one shot.
Standing up, on all fours.

Your Questions, Answered

How do I choose a size?
Approximate chest sizing: XS 10-12 in, S 12-14 in, M 14-17 in, L 17-20 in, XL 20-23 in. XS suits a kitten, a Chihuahua or a Yorkie, S a Pomeranian or a Maltese, M a Pug, a Shih Tzu or a cat, L a French Bulldog or a Cocker, XL a Border Collie or a Beagle. Measure the chest just behind the front legs, and put the figure in your order notes if you are between sizes.
How does it go on?
Over the head once and the dog’s own two front legs through the body openings. The stuffed arms and legs hang at the front on their own, and the belly is left open. About ten seconds when you have done it twice.
Does the hat stay on?
It has an elastic loop that goes under the chin, so it stays put through a photo session. Most dogs tolerate the hat for a few minutes at a time, which is all a photograph needs, and the body works perfectly well without it.
Will it fit a cat?
The XS and S sizes suit most cats, and the open belly is what makes it possible. Try it for short stretches in the days before, because a cat that meets a costume for the first time on Christmas morning tends to have opinions.
Is it warm enough for a walk?
It is fleece, so it takes the chill off a dry day around the garden or up the street. It is built for the house, the photographs and the doorbell rather than a long cold walk, where a padded coat does the job better.
How do I wash it?
Turn it inside out, hand wash cold and lay it flat to dry. That keeps the plush trim soft and stops the stuffed arms losing their shape, which a machine would flatten.
Why this rather than a Christmas sweater?
Because a sweater is a color and this is a character. The stuffed arms change the dog’s whole outline, so it reads from across a room and in a photograph taken on a phone. A sweater needs a caption; this one does not.
