One Side For The Mud, One For The Village
The problem with a good dog coat is that it looks good for about four minutes. The Reversa is built to be turned inside out: two finished sides, two colors, and a three-layer waterproof shell either way round.
Walk out the muddy side, come home, flip it, and the clean face is the one everyone sees. A high collar covers the neck where most coats stop short, and the whole thing is waterproof in both directions rather than having a ‘proper’ side and a lining.

Why It’s Better

- Two Coats In One: Waterproof outer, warm middle, soft lining, and a second colorway on the reverse when one side is muddy.
- Wear It Either Way: Green out or light blue out, so you turn it over and keep walking rather than washing and waiting.
- Three Layers: Waterproof shell outside, insulating middle, soft layer against the dog.
- Extended Collar: Stands up around the neck instead of stopping at the shoulders, where the cold gets in.
- Nothing To Fasten: No zip and no buckles to catch fur. It goes over and sits in place.
- Seven Sizes: Chest 17.5 to 38.0 in, back length 12.0 to 27.5 in.
Perfect for the dog who finds every puddle
Reversible sounds like a gimmick until the second week of a wet winter, when one coat is doing the work of two and neither of them is drying on a radiator. The collar is the other quiet win: it covers the part of the neck that a normal coat leaves open to the wind.
Muddy side in. Keep going.

Your Questions, Answered

How do I choose a size?
Measure the chest at the widest point behind the front legs, that is the measurement that decides the fit. Then check back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Chest runs 17.5 in at the smallest through 38 in at the largest; the full table is in the specifications. Allow a 0.5 to 1 inch variation, so size up if you are between two.
How does the reversible side work?
Both faces are finished outer fabric, so either can be worn facing out. Turn it inside out and you have the second color. There is no right or wrong way round.
Does it keep the rain out?
Yes. The outer shell is waterproof and the three-layer build keeps the wet on the outside and the warmth on the inside, so your dog comes home dry under the vest. Flip it over and the second colorway does exactly the same job.
Does it have a lead attachment?
No. There is no D-ring and no harness built in, so you will need a collar or harness underneath. That is worth knowing before you order if you were expecting to clip straight to the coat.
How does it fasten?
It does not, there is no zip, no buckle and no velcro. It goes on over the head and front legs and sits in place. Fewer parts to fail, but it does mean getting it over the head.
How do I wash it?
Hand wash cold and air dry. Do not tumble dry and do not iron, heat damages the water-repellent finish on the shell, which is what the coat is for.
What is in the box?
One vest, in the size and colorway you choose. No lead, no harness, no bag.
