Every dog owner’s car has the same seam: where the seat back meets the base, packed with hair no vacuum has ever reached. Add mud in the weave and a dog that slides into the footwell on every hard stop, and the back seat quietly stops being usable for people. The Cabina covers all of it.
It hooks to all four headrests. Straps up and it becomes a hammock with the footwell gap closed off; straps down and it is a flat bench cover for passengers. Side flaps cover the door trim, two slots let the belts through, and the top edge measures 54 inches.

Will it fit my car?
The top edge measures 54 in and the side flaps are 17.7 in deep. Measure across your own rear bench before ordering rather than trusting the words universal fit, which we do not use. Most family cars and SUVs are in range; a small three-door and a very wide truck bench are the two ends where it may not be.
Does it stay put when the dog moves about?
Yes. Four headrest straps and two seat anchors pull it tight from every corner, so a dog can stand, turn and lie back down without dragging it into a heap. The side flaps tuck down over the door cards, which is where the muddy paw prints usually land.
Is it waterproof?
It is water-resistant. It sheds a wet coat and mud for the journey home. Standing water will eventually work through, and no rating is published, so we do not call it waterproof.
Can passengers still sit on it?
Yes, with the front straps unhooked so it lies flat. The two seat belt slots line up with the rear belts. In hammock mode the middle is off the seat, so it is a dog configuration rather than a passenger one.
How does it attach?
Four webbing straps with plastic hooks go over the front and rear headrest posts, and two anchor straps tuck into the crease between the seat back and base to stop it creeping forward.
How do I clean it?
Shake it out and vacuum it, and sponge mud off with warm water. It is a large quilted panel, so a machine wash is possible in a big drum but it takes a long time to dry through. Air dry it fully before putting it back in the car.
Why this rather than an old blanket?
A blanket slides into a heap by the first roundabout. This anchors at four headrests and two seat points, has slots so the belts still work, and side flaps that cover the door cards where the paw prints go.
