A Boundary Without Digging A Trench
The Boundex sets a circular boundary around the base unit, so there is no wire to bury and nothing to dig up when you change your mind. Plug the base in, set how far the boundary reaches, and fit the collar. The system warns your dog with a tone as they approach the edge, then vibration, and only then an adjustable static correction if they keep going.
The receiver sits on a reflective nylon strap and is waterproof, so it stays on through rain and wet grass. One base unit runs one, two or three collars, which is the part that usually costs extra elsewhere. Both the base and the collar are rechargeable.

Do I need to bury any wire?
No. The boundary is wireless and set from the base unit, so there is no trenching and nothing to cut through later.
Does it shock my dog?
It can, and you should know that before buying. The sequence is tone, then vibration, then static correction, and the static level is adjustable. Set it to the lowest level your dog responds to. Many dogs learn on tone and vibration alone.
Is it safe for my dog?
Used properly and at the lowest effective level, yes, but this is a training tool and not a substitute for training. Do not use it on a puppy under six months, on a dog with a heart condition, or on an anxious or fearful dog. Introduce it gradually with the flags and supervision.
How long can my dog wear the collar?
Take it off for a few hours a day and check the skin under the contact points daily. Leaving a contact collar on continuously can cause pressure sores.
Can I use it for more than one dog?
Yes. One base unit runs up to three collars, choose the option that matches how many dogs you have.
Is the collar waterproof?
The receiver is sealed against rain and wet grass. It is not made for swimming or full submersion.
Will it work on any size dog?
The strap adjusts for small through large dogs. Very small breeds under about 10 lb are better served by supervision than by a correction collar.
