Firm Underneath, Soft On Top
The Cushora puts a high-density foam core under a plush faux fur surface, so it holds its shape under a heavy dog instead of bottoming out to the floor. A waterproof base layer sits underneath, and the whole cover unzips for the machine rather than committing you to washing the entire mat. Cheap mats compress flat within weeks; a dense core is what keeps a bed usable past the first month.
Flat profile with no raised sides, sized from 23 x 15.5 in up to 41.5 x 25.5 in so it drops straight into a standard crate, a fixed spot by the door, or the back of the car. The edges are bound rather than raw, which is what stops a cover fraying after repeated washes. Four muted colorways: grey, dark grey, khaki and pink.

Why It’s Better

- High-Density Foam Core: Distributes weight rather than compressing flat, so it still has structure months later.
- Hidden-Zipper Faux Fur Cover: The cover unzips completely and goes in the machine, so cleaning is not a wrestling match.
- Waterproof Base Layer: Accidents stop at the base instead of reaching the foam or the floor underneath.
- Anti-Slip Underside: Grips tile, laminate and crate trays, so it does not shift when your dog turns over.
- Flat Crate-Ready Profile: No raised sides, so it lies flat inside a crate where a bolster bed will not fit.
- Bound Edges, Six Stitches Per Inch: Edges are bound rather than raw, which is what stops a cover fraying after repeated washes.
Perfect for older dogs and hard floors
Thin pads flatten within weeks and your dog ends up lying on the floor through the padding. Firm foam keeps a surface to push up from, which matters most for dogs that are slowing down.
Support underneath, not just softness on top.

Your Questions, Answered

Will it flatten like my last one?
It should not. The core is high-density foam rather than loose fiber fill, which is the reason cheap pads go flat. It compresses under weight and returns to shape.
Is this a medical or orthopedic treatment?
No, and we will not claim it is. It is a firm foam mat. Firm support makes it easier for a dog to get up off the floor, but it does not treat any condition. Speak to your vet about that.
Can I wash the whole mat?
The cover, yes. It unzips completely and goes in the machine on a cold gentle cycle. The foam core is not washable, so spot clean that and let it air dry.
Is the fur surface waterproof?
No. The waterproof layer is the base, underneath the foam. It stops accidents reaching the floor, but liquid will soak into the fur cover on top, which is why the cover is removable.
Will it fit inside my crate?
Most likely. The four sizes are cut to standard crate floors, from 23 x 15.5 in up to 41.5 x 25.5 in. Measure the inside of your crate base and pick the size that sits flat without curling.
Which size suits my dog?
Go by weight. M suits dogs up to 15 lb, L up to 33 lb, XL up to 55 lb and XXL up to 99 lb. If your dog stretches out fully when sleeping, size up.
Does it slide on tile?
No. The underside is anti-slip, so it holds position on tile, laminate and inside a crate tray.
