Is the leash really included?
Yes. A matching 59 in leash with a snap hook comes with every dress, which is unusual at this price and means nothing has to be found to go with it.
Will a cat wear it?
Plenty do. It is mesh-lined and light, it closes with one buckle at the belly, and nothing goes over the head or wraps the back legs. Put it on for ten minutes at a time in the days before the event and most cats stop noticing it.
Do the sequins scratch?
No. The sequins are stitched to the outer face only and the whole inside of the vest is soft mesh, so the layer against the coat is the same material as an ordinary summer harness.
Will the skirt get in the way?
It sits at the back above the tail and is short enough to stay clear of the back legs, so your pet walks normally in it. It takes two seconds to slip off afterwards.
How do I wash it?
Hand wash cold with a mild detergent and lay it flat to dry. Sequins and tulle both keep their shape that way; a machine would pull threads and crush the skirt.
